Police sought man linked to sisters death

Police are looking for Rassie Nkuna, who they believe will assist in a murder investigation.

This is following the fatal shooting of siblings, Pretty Mazibuko (42) who was a police officer at the Ngodwana Police Station, and Marcia Mazibuko (43) in KaNyamazane on Sunday evening.

According to police, they say an argument between the male suspect and his partner broke out when her sister and two other females intervened.

“It is reported that the man left and returned later with a firearm. He allegedly shot one sister inside a car. She attempted to flee in which he later drove away before shooting his partner, who was in the house. Authorities certified both siblings dead on arrival at the local clinic,” said Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.

A case with two counts of murder was opened, and the police have since launched a manhunt for Rassie Nkuna.
