Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience continues

The Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience continues following its postponement. The festival will kicked off with the Carnival Xperience today.

“We were excited about the Carnival Xperience. It offered the department an opportunity to start the summer celebrations in a carnival atmosphere. The carnival promotes social cohesion and local artists,” said the department’s spokesperson, Sibongile Nkosi.

Nkosi said they add more local artists to the line-up. “The Comedy Xperience moves from December 2 to December 9 at Emnotweni Arena. The Soul Xperience moves from December 5 to December 12 at Lowveld Botanical Garden. Tickets are R150 for each event at www.ticketpros.co.za or at your nearest Spar.”

Other events of the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience will be held as follows:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday, December 7 and 8: Music Creative Workshop at Mbombela Stadium at 09:00 (per invitation)
  • Thursday, December 9: Comedy Xperience at Emntoweni Arena at 19:00 (R150)
  • Saturday, December 11: Marathon Xperience at GaMorwe Stadium at 06:00 (Free), Traditional Xperience at Glenmore Sports Ground at 09:00 (Free), Choral Xperience at Ermelo Civic Centre at 09:00 (R60 at the gate) and Music Festival Xperience at Mbombela Stadium at 12:00 (Free) 
  • Sunday, December 12: Soul Session Xperience at Lowveld Botanical Garden at 12:00 (R150)  and Mpumalanga Gospel Awards at Communio Church at 17:00 (from R200 at Computicket)
