Four stolen vehicles were found on Tuesday by South African Defence Force (SANDF) members during a routine patrol.
According to a report, the SANDF members spotted a suspicious convoy of vehicles which is believed to have been heading to Mozambique.

In a police statement, it stated that the occupants of the vehicles started shooting towards the SANDF members, who then reportedly fired back.

“A male was shot dead, but the other suspects got away. All the four Toyota vehicles, two Legend 50 bakkies, a Fortuner and a Hilux were reported stolen at Lyttleton and Florida, Gauteng and in Pienaar,” reads the statement. The police are investigating an inquest in relation to the incident.
